Alexia Dominique Reyes is Binibining Alexia. Her understanding of society, governance, and public affairs comes not only from academic study but also from growing up in a family involved in local politics and public service since the 1980s.

As a third-generation educator, she was raised by a mother who is a school principal at a private educational institution in the National Capital Region and a grandmother who served as a school principal, too, at local public schools before retiring.

Beyond teaching, she is the founder of Sociopoliticool, where she produces free educational content in the social sciences to help reduce poverty not just in the Philippines but all over the world. Through articles, videos, lectures, and learning materials, she aims to make social studies more accessible to learners who may not have easy access to educational resources.

She started writing in English and exploring website design and development in 2009. In 2019, which was ten years later, she had the opportunity to work as an SEO writer and do website development on the side for businesses worldwide. In 2024, she was able to build Sociopoliticool on her own, thanks to her experience. Sociopolitischool was added in 2025.

Her hobbies are writing, designing, and reading. She is a volunteer librarian at Hardcover.
